Staverton Village Hall
The village hall accommodates approximately 30 people and has a main hall, a kitchen and two toilets. Tables and chairs are provided. In 2017 the kitchen was expanded to allow for more kitchen units and a cooker and griddle. Following a request by the local football team for a hatchway in the kitchen to supply food to field users, the Parish Council replaced the existing window with a hatch window and installed a patio for outside dining. This new facility has proved popular with the parents of the football teams. The cost to hire the village hall is £11 plus 20% VAT per hour. (If the field is required then this is an additional fee of £14 for 1 ½ hours plus 20% VAT). The building is not manned and hirers are responsible for cleaning up and clearing away furniture and crockery after use, ready for the next hire. There is a built in hot water heater in the kitchen for hot drinks.
A First Aid box is available in the kitchen to compliment the Defibrillator Unit positioned at the front of the building by the main entrance.
The hall is very popular for children's birthday parties and is regularly hired for yoga and by other local groups.
(There is a specially reduced rate to hire the village hall for block bookings. Please contact the Bookings Secretary for more details.)
There is a small car park as you enter the ground and another car park off Cottles Barton near the children's play ground. The ground is locked between 10pm and 7am unless special arrangements have been made.
