Staverton Sports Ground

Found in the centre of the village is the sports field, which has a tennis court, with a very popular tennis club, run by a local resident Anthony Nye, who can be contacted on 07817 958194, it costs £15 per family per year for a key to the court. The club meets on Tuesday evenings between 1900 and 2100, during the warmer, lighter months.

The sports field has 2 junior and 1 youth football pitches, which at a weekend are very popular with local teams.

Staverton village has their own very successful youth team managed by Mrs Wendy Grant, who is also responsible for all team bookings on the field. Mrs Grant can be contacted on 01225 360561.

The Parish Council are currently looking for local volunteers to help manage the sports ground and create a working party to look into changing the usage of the pavilion.
